Mary Peacock, PhD, is a professor emeritus from the University of Nevada, Reno, with a research focus on Conservation Genetics. She worked primarily on ESA-listed threatened and endangered species found throughout the western United States.

Booth space size is 10X10 (no more than 2 spaces per vendor)
A holiday dining event at the Community Hall for all, locals, visitors and families sponsored by the Downieville Lion’s Club, the United Methodist and Assembly of God churches. All donations and contributions benefit the Western Sierra Food Bank. Dinner served from 1-4pm. Donations of turkeys, hams, desserts and money are needed and can be given or ordered at Downieville Grocery and the Sierra City Country Store. Volunteers are needed to help set up, cook turkeys, desserts and all the trimmings, and serve on Thanksgiving Day.
