Painting Warp and Weave- March 17th & March 24th, 2018

In this two day workshop, you will explore the fun of warp painting, with over a dozen color choices, to create a color pattern in which to weave with on a Rigid Heddle Loom. We will then learn to warp and weave, duplicating your unique color sequence. You will be guided through the warp painting process on the first day and on the second day, guided through warping up your hand dyed skein to create pools of color. This workshop is suited for any level weaver, beginner or experienced. Workshop guided by Michelle Haselton.
Supplies Included: $75 worth of dying and weaving material included. Small snacks, coffee and tea.
Supplies Needed: On the first day, Participants should bring full frontal apron and rubber gloves for dying, as well as wear old clothes and shoes that can be "dyed" from accidents. On the second day, please bring own loom with all warping and weaving accessories or one available for rent, see Private Instruction and Rentals for details. Participants should also bring personal beverage and snacks if desired.
This workshop needs a minimum of THREE participants to take place.
