Who we are
Nestled in the heart of Sierra City, California, The Buttes Resort is a quietly charming retreat that blends rustic comfort with the natural beauty of the mountains and river.
The resort offers a mix of three rooms and several tastefully appointed cabins — many with full kitchens, gas fireplaces, and private decks. Two bedroom, two bathroom cabin units are also available.
Some units overlook the river canyon and outdoor amenities such as BBQs, tables, and lounging chairs make it easy to soak up the fresh mountain air and atmosphere.
Inside the lodge, guests will find a cozy common room stocked with books, board games, DVDs, and a pool table — a welcoming place to unwind after a day of outdoor activity.
The resort provides free WiFi, self-parking, and other practical touches (microwave, refrigerator, etc.) in many units.
