Portola Rotary Clubhouse

During this 13 week workshop local volunteers will be trained by UC experts and local professionals in advanced plant science and sustainable gardening practices that are applicable to local conditions. Upon completion of the training, volunteers share their newly acquired knowledge with the community through the media, talks and workshops.

Residents of Plumas & Sierra Counties are encouraged to apply.  Prior horticulture experience is encouraged but not required.  We are seeking applicants with a strong volunteer ethic and a desire to make a long-term commitment to the program and their community.
